Boudoir Photography

boudoir photography

I absolutely love boudoir photos, one day I’ll take some of my own, probably a few years down the line when I don’t look like a 16 year old.

Boudoir Photography

Boudoir photography is basically photos of women or couples in a dressing room or intimate setting. Usually dressed in lingerie or robes. Nudity isn’t necessary, but it is usually implied in the photography. The photos also have a “I’m going to pretend you’re not in the room taking photos of me minding my own business, but I’m still going to make occasional eye contact with you” vibe. That’s the best way I can describe it.

This post was inspired by my big hair. While in the process of getting ready this morning I really liked how my hair filled my table mirror and when I took a picture, It kind of had that intimate and secretive feeling.

On my face I am wearing Nars Sheer Glow in Macao, Milani brow kit in dark03 /eyes: Maybelline TheNUDES pallette and master precise eyeliner along with clump crushers mascara / lips: Jordana liner in cabaret paired with a dark pink gloss.

  • Hi! Just stopping by from the NaBlogPoMo link up. 🙂 Boudoir photos are the best! You should definitely have some taken. The camera loves you!

    • Thank you! I just checked out your blog and I really like your fitness and travel post. What kind of lens are you using, if you don’t mind me asking?

      • Thanks!! I usually use my 35mm f/2.0 for traveling. When I went to France I carried around my 85mm too, but the 35 rarely came off my camera. 🙂

That Nars sheer glow makes your skin look like butter!

    • I love this foundation! I thought it was too light when the guy in Sephora brought me the bottle, but it looked great on. Gives me a little glow in this drying winter weather.
