Some how I ended up in the beauty section of Target while picking up my last minute essentials before our trip to Colorado.

I’ve heard a lot about the NYX butter glosses and wanted to try them out for myself. I really like the color Cherry Pie (red) and I’ve been wearing it regularly. The Tiramisu color is also really nice, but I think I will need to wear a lip liner as a base with that color as it doesn’t show up the best on my skin tone.

Since I was already in the store I figured I would check to see if any drug store beauty brand cleansing oils were available. The store clerk really recommended this bottle of Ultra light cleansing oil by Neutrogena. I’ve only had the chance to use it once, but based on first impressions, I’m not too sure about it. It’s kind of thick and doesn’t really “melt down” how I thought it would. But I will give you guys an update after a couple of weeks.

I also found these sexy Ardell lashes, and I’m hoping that the density of them will better blend with my natural super curly lashes.

Finally, the Neutrogena Clear Pore Astringent has been in my medicine cabinet for a couple of weeks now, and I absolutely love it! It really helps freshen your face after cleansing and I’m always amazed at the amount of dirt and oil that is still on my face even after cleansing. This astringent gets the left over grime off with out being overly drying to my skin.

I really want to be more active on my blog, I just noticed that my one year blogaversary is coming up and I feel like I should of/could of put way more into my blog than I have. On the bright side, I have managed to keep up with my blog this year so far, so hopefully only better things are ahead. That’s all for now, catch ya’ in my next post.
