Today’s blog session started with an oversized sweater and ended up with just a crocheted top. Summer obviously isn’t ready to give up for the year, or Sir Winter is being very timid about taking over.
I’ve noticed that I’ve been wearing a lot of maroon, oxblood, brick or what ever you prefer to call it. My last few outfit posts actually include at least one maroon item. In high school my color of choice was hot pink, (it’s kind of embarrassing to think back on) but since graduating from my alma mater, where we all bled maroon, my closet has made a shift.
I’ve been waiting to dabble into the see-thru trend, but I wanted something that wasn’t form fitting mesh. When I ran across this top I knew I had to try it on, and it was exactly what I had been looking for. It flows over all the less than flat areas and isn’t so see-thru where it’s just uncomfortable. My necklace, unfortunately, kept sagging onto my shirt so it’s covering some of the pattern.
